Oh yes! Famous girls from Sex and the City were in Marrakech for almost 2 months filming some missing scenes for their movie that came up in 2010.
Originally this film was supposed to be filmed in the United Arab Emirates but since Emirate authorities refused clearance for filming in their country, plan B was coming to Marrakech. So the film segment where supposedly Sex and the City ladies are in Abu Dhabi is actually shot in Morocco.
