Accommodation in Zakho, Hotel Zakho Iraq Kurdistan
I didn’t stay in Zakho for a night but I’ll try to point out some ideas on where to stay, relaying on a couple of blogs and books.
Like in any other town in Kurdistan Iraq, there are several choices of accommodation, some cheaper than others so it’s just a matter of being there and start looking for them on the busiest streets and in the town center. Ask people and they will help you out.
However, some resources can be of help:

Lonely Planet Middle East BOOK

I bought this book in Istanbul on my way to Kurdistan, it was very useful because you can read about the region and have really good maps of major towns and cities. I ended not using not even 1 hotel featured on this book, but, again, it’s very useful for some practical information and for maps. I’m happy I bought it.
