Dohuk is the first big Kurdish Iraqi city after the Turkish border, so, all the trucks full of merchandise / fruits / you name it!, arrive here even before they even arrive to the Kurdish capital city of Erbil. All the city is full of shops and you’ll be able to find quite a few traditional neighborhood markets spread around the city, plus, you can go to a huge supermarket in Dream City if you need some different stuff.
