Shahraran Tourist Hotel, Hotel Erbil Kurdistan Iraq
I arrived in Erbil during a huge sand storm, and after traveling 30 hours from Istanbul, I fallen in the city like if I was droped from an airplane on an parachute.
I was thinking I would find a cheap hotel fast. Neither cheap nor expensive. I found nothing. I knew there were about 10 hotels in the center, near the Citadel, where I wanted to stay. So it was just a matter of keep looking.
After seeing 7 hotels, and after my backpack burst and sought a man who fixed shoes to repair it, I found a hotel where I heard what I wanted to hear for a long time: “YES WE HAVE A ROOM.

Of course, my smile went away when he told me that the price was of 40.000 dinars for a double room with wc. Well … I asked his information for a cheaper hotel and he told me to try the hotel next door, but was full so I went back there.
I said: “Man I stay but you have to give me the best room you have!”. He said: “Of course.”
Hehe so there I went up the stairs, and voilà … a super room for the first night in Iraq. Very cool, tv, fridge, bath / shower and a bed where I got a itch during the first 15 minutes.
I left the room and stalked washed sheets from the laundry room near the stairs. I went there and got a set of clean sheets to sleep easily and clean. I also asked them to turn off the air conditioning, I despise them. I slept with the fan on because it was very warm. I stayed 2 nights.
