Each Arabic letter can be written in four ways: at the beggining of the word, in the middle of the word, at the end of the word and the letter stands alone, without a word.

In the example below you can see how the letter B – BA is written in different parts of the word.

However, there are 6 letters of the Arabic alphabet that cannot connect to the following letter.

When there is a letter that is not connected, the word has a break in continuity.
