Transportation to Brussels Airport Belgium

Filed in Belgium by on April 24, 2011 0 Comments

joao leitaoThere is a good transportation network of metro / train very easy to take to go from the center of Brussels city to the airport and vice versa.

Normally you have to take a metro to the Brussels Central train station and from there take the train which leaves several times a day to the airport Brussel Nationaal / Bruxelles-National. The metro/subway ticket costs 1.70 Euros. The train ticket costs 2.90 Euros.

This station connects the airport to all stations and around Brussels: De Panne, Ghent, Hasselt, Landen, Leuven, Liège and Nivelles Quévy. After the city for example if you take a metro to Brussels Central station is 5 minutes from the Super-known City Hall downtown.

Once you arrive to the train station and you are confused, the easiest is to ask at the information counter where you purchase tickets that they explain very well and possibly have a city map for you. Brussel Nationaal Station is the train station that serves the airport so it’s easy to know. Good luck.
