Marshrutka Comrat to Tiraspol, Bus Gagauzia to Transnistria

From the central bus station in Comrat Gagauzia, there are several daily Marshrutka’s departing to Tiraspol in Transnistria. The trip is fine, and the border with Trans-Dniester is calm. The trip is made on a secondary road in really bad conditions in the south of Moldova.

On the border with Transnistria you must leave the marshrutka and fill out a paper entry, and answer a few questions to the police. Nothing much just the normal procedure. Simply say that you are a tourist and will stay in a hotel in Tiraspol (say for example the hotel AIST).
