Isfahan is a beautiful place to visit.

Isfahan is a historical city in central Iran, full of monuments, located about 350 kms south of the capital Tehran.

Isfahan is the 3rd largest city in the country and has an unique life.

This town is inscribed on the World Heritage list of UNESCO with the Imam Square, and there are plenty of historical buildings in the city. Undoubtedly one of the most interesting cities to visit in Iran.

This city is ideal to stay at least 2 or 3 days and visit the huge palaces, squares, bridges, gardens and museums. Esfahan was once the capital of the Persian Empire and still retain some of that past glory.

Some places to visit in Esfahan are :

The Naghsh-e Jahan Square also known as Imam Square and the huge monuments that exist such as Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, the Bridge Sio-Seh Pole, the Imam Mosque, and also visit one of the many teahouses and nargile around the square terraces with wonderful views.

In Esfahan you can also visit the Khaju Bridge, Palace Chehel Sotoon built by Shah Abbas II in the seventeenth century, the Grand Bazaar of Esfahan, the Vank Cathedral, etc..
