In Juba there are many places to eat. Most hotels have restaurants open late. There are also inexpensive options for eating on the streets.

There are scattered around the city a series of restaurants where you can find the best food in Juba. Here in these places and with very little money you can eat traditional food of South Sudan and contact with local people in a familiar environment.

Throughout the city there are small handcarts with pineapple that come from Uganda. You can also find small bean cakes and pies on street vendors near the Konya Konya market.
