Barcelona Sightseeing and Monuments Spain

Barcelona is one of the most visited cities in the world and one of the most desirable destinations for travelers.

Many times in conversation with my friends, most tell me they would like to visit Barcelona, while most of them actually already visited the city

The center of Barcelona is not very big so you can walk around to most famous monuments and sightseeing point. There is plenty to see, museums, cultural houses, churches, squares, palaces, streets, etc..

The areas and sites of Barcelona not to be missed are the Barri Gòtic, La Rambla, the Plaça de Catalunya, o Port Vell, the Barcelona cathedral, the Hospital de la Santa Creu I, the Passeig de Gràcia, the Montjuïc, the Fundació Joan Miró, the Mercado da Boqueria, the Casa Museu Dali, the Praça Reial, the Arc de Trionf, the Fortress and Parc de la Ciutadella, and the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC).

Barcelona best and most famous museums are: Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), Centre Cultural Caixa de Catalunya, Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) and the Museu Picasso.

One thing you also have to do is a boat trip in Barcelona where you can see the whole city from the sea. There are boats coming out of the harbor near the Rambla del Mar at the end of Avenida La Rambla and Avenida Ronda del Litoral.
