About Tashkent in Uzbekistan
After much work trying to make myself understood at the border with Kazakhstan just to exchange money to take the bus to Tashkent, then a taxi driver exchanged me $ 10 dollars and took $0.50 commission that took me at least 30 minutes trying to bargain.
Taxi drivers wanted to take me to Tashkent for $10 dollars, but I paid 15 cents for one hour bus ride to the Chorsu Bazaar, a focal point to buy everything from the old part of city of Tashkent. Those taxi drivers told me initially I had no transportation to Tashkent. I guess I did…

Well, once I arrived to Tashkent I went straight to Hotel Bumi to go to my contact here in Uzbekistan to get a cheap ticket to Iran so, I made good friendships with Sanjar, a guy working in this travel agency. Sanjar took me along with his group of friends to the mountains near the border with Kyrgyzstan. Great trip
We went to the lake area called Charvak, a place with beautiful landscapes but in direct contact with foreign factories abandoned lakes near the river Chirchik. I really enjoyed and gave an idea of how people reunite with family and go out to nature excursions with to relax from the city.
