Some places are so interesting that it’s relevant to keep them for future generations. This is why UNESCO has built a list of crucial classified properties in which superb places stand out for their aesthetic, natural, artistic, or cultural significance.

Description
- Antigua Naval Dockyard and Related Archaeological Sites is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. The site included the remains of a British naval dockyard built in the 18th century and was a key strategic center for British operations in the Caribbean. The dockyard also contains several related archaeological sites, including military buildings, fortifications, and shipwrecks, reflecting the region’s colonial history and the transatlantic slave trade. Today, the dockyard is a popular tourist destination and a well-preserved example of colonial-era military architecture and engineering.
