Solomon Islands UNESCO has registered 1 site on the World Heritage list and 2 on the tentative list.
Some places are so interesting that it’s relevant to keep them for future generations. This is why UNESCO has built a list of crucial classified properties in which superb places stand out for their aesthetic, natural, artistic, or cultural significance.
More than a thousand places are registered as Unesco’s World Heritage worldwide. Due to my interest in visiting World Heritage sites, I compiled the UNESCO list in Solomon Islands and the corresponding map.

Description
- East Rennell is a site located on Rennell Island in the Solomon Islands. The site encompasses the largest raised coral atoll in the world and is home to various unique flora and fauna, including many endemic species. It is also an important cultural site for the local Rennellese people, who have lived on the island for thousands of years and have developed a rich and distinctive cultural heritage. The site was inscribed as a World Heritage site in 1998, and efforts are ongoing to preserve and protect its natural and cultural resources.
